Kushner and Netanyahu Discuss Hamas Demilitarization Oversight

Jared Kushner, former White House senior advisor, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed a proposal for a U.S. general to oversee the demilitarization of Hamas, according to a source familiar with the matter. The two leaders reached an agreement during an hours-long meeting.

The plan involves an international force. This force would operate under the command of the U.S. general, a source stated.

The discussion between Kushner and Netanyahu followed earlier talks. Kushner, along with other members of Trump's Board of Peace, held rare discussions with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
