Knicks Sweep 76ers in Second Round, Embiid Uncertain About Philadelphia Future

The New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, completing a second-round playoff sweep. This marked Joel Embiid's sixth second-round exit in nine NBA postseasons.

Following the series, Embiid expressed uncertainty regarding his return to the 76ers next season. He stated, "I don't even know if I'm gonna be here, you know, whatever happens happens, but, you know, for me I'm excited about, you know, really getting back to myself." Embiid also referenced the ongoing development of teammates VJ and Tyrese, alongside Paul George.

Embiid will enter his 13th NBA season. He addressed previous knee concerns, stating, "I thought I was done... And then I found something and we found something as a group to figure out what we have to do to make sure I'm better positioned next year to play a lot of games." He emphasized his intent to prepare for the upcoming season.
