Jared Young Out 6-8 Weeks with Meniscus Tear

New York Mets utility player Jared Young will be out of action for an estimated six to eight weeks. The injury is a tear in the meniscus of his left knee. Young has been placed on the injured list as a result of the injury. The team has not yet announced any roster moves to fill his spot on the active roster.
