INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Jason Jackson defeated Jeff Creighton via knockout (punch) in Round 1 at the 0:22 mark during the MVP MMA 1 preliminary card. The event occurred Saturday at Inglewood, California.
Additional preliminary card results included David Mgoyan defeating Albert Morales by unanimous decision with scores of 29-28, 30-27, and 30-27. Aline Pereira secured a split decision victory over Jade Masson-Wong with judges scoring 29-28, 27-30, and 29-28. Chris Avila also won by split decision against Brandon Jenkins, with judges scoring 29-28, 28-29, and 29-28.
The main card featured Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano, Nate Diaz vs. Mike Perry, and Francis Ngannou vs. Philipe Lins. Other main card bouts included Kenneth Cross vs. Salahdine Parnasse and Robelis Despaigne vs. Junior Dos Santos. Preliminary card matches also included Jake Babian vs. Namo Fazil and Adriano Moraes vs. Phumi Nkuta.
