Iranian Official Addresses U.S. Economic Pressure

TEHRAN – Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, a high-ranking Iranian official, recently commented on the United States' focus on economic measures against Iran. Qalibaf stated that the U.S. shift to economic strategies indicates a change from previous military engagements.

He specifically addressed U.S. President Donald Trump's statements regarding economic pressure on Iran. Qalibaf asserted that prior U.S. sanctions against Iran have not achieved their stated objectives.
