IHMC Opens $40M Research Complex in Pensacola

The Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition opened its $40 million research complex in downtown Pensacola on Tuesday, expanding the institute's workspace for work in robotics, artificial intelligence, and human-centered computing.
Local officials and IHMC staff attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility, which the institute says will support its research into extending human capabilities through technology.
