This new In-N-Out location was the first to open in Idaho. The shooting took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. MST. Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Chad Williams. Williams had previously attended the College of Southern Idaho, as confirmed by the college. Law enforcement officials arrested Williams in connection with the shooting. Reports indicate that a civilian with a firearm confronted the shooter. This individual stated that he had undergone firearm training after a separate mass shooting event in 2021.
