Hurricanes Defeat Flyers 3-2 in Overtime, Take 2-0 Series Lead

The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 in overtime Monday night, giving Carolina a 2-0 lead in the series. No Flyers player scored more than one goal; Noah Cates and Travis Konecny each scored one goal for Philadelphia. For Carolina, Sebastian Aho scored one goal, and Jake Guentzel tallied one goal. Andrei Svechnikov scored the game-winning goal in overtime for Carolina. The Hurricanes now lead the best-of-seven series and will host the next two games.
