Hollywood Business Fire: What We Know So Far
Hollywood fire crews extinguished a two-alarm business structure fire, and no injuries had been reported at the time of publication, according to CBS Miami.
That is the clearest confirmed update so far; however, CBS Miami’s reporting places the fire in the 2100 block of Collins Court, not at the address listed in the initial dispatch.
According to Hollywood Fire, crews arrived to an active working fire and upgraded the incident to a second-alarm response. Fire authorities said the blaze was extinguished and crews remained on scene to conduct overhaul and make sure the area was safe.
CBS Miami reported that the cause remains under investigation. No confirmed reporting was found matching a structure fire at 8470 NW 27th St. in Hollywood on June 8, 2026.
Dispatch records show 75 similar structure fire incidents in Cooper City over the past six months, underscoring how frequently fire crews in the area are called to this type of emergency.
What happens next depends on whether Hollywood Fire or other local agencies release a formal incident update. The investigation is ongoing, and no incident-specific investigative update was found for the user-specified address.
Day.News will continue to update this story as officials release more information.
