Hamas Outlines Conditions for Disarmament, Palestinian Statehood Key Demand

According to Hamas, the subsequent stage, which involves laying down its heavy weapons, remains contingent on the creation of an independent Palestinian state. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government has previously rejected the formation of a Palestinian state.
