Guardians Promote Top Prospect Bazzana to Major League Roster

The Cleveland Guardians announced the promotion of Travis Bazzana, the organization's top prospect and the No. 16 overall prospect in baseball. Bazzana, a first-round selection in the 2024 MLB Draft, joins the major league club after a productive stint in the minor leagues.

Bazzana posted a .346 batting average across Double-A and Triple-A this season. He recorded 11 home runs and 38 RBIs in 52 games. Bazzana also registered 18 stolen bases, maintaining an OBP of .451. His minor league performance included 16 doubles and 4 triples, contributing to a .623 slugging percentage.
