Gotterup's Second-Round 65 Shakes Up PGA Championship

Chris Gotterup carded a 5-under 65 in the second round of the PGA Championship. Gotterup birdied his final three holes to complete his round. His score was two strokes better than the next best score in the morning wave. Scottie Scheffler, the defending champion, shot a 71. Gotterup ranked first in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green and second in Strokes Gained: Approach Shot during his round. He previously shot the low round of the day at the 2025 Corales Puntacana Championship (67), the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open (61) and the 2026 WM Phoenix Open (63).
