Isiah Pacheco, former running back for the Kansas City Chiefs, was observed running drills with the Detroit Lions. Pacheco signed a free-agent contract with Detroit during the 2026 offseason. The Lions' official social media account posted video of Pacheco working out with teammates on May 8, 2026.
Pacheco will join the Lions' offensive backfield, operating behind Jahmyr Gibbs. The Kansas City Chiefs moved on from Pacheco during the offseason, subsequently signing Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III as part of a new ground game strategy.
