The system also allows users to search for approved counterfeit-proof prescription pad vendors and request certification of their Florida license.

The Division of Medical Quality Assurance online service portal provides direct access to the division's online License Verification tool. This tool allows searches by licensee name or license number, and provides access to disciplinary actions and practitioner profiles. For organizations or individuals needing general license information for multiple practitioners under specific board regulation, the Public Data Portal link offers this comprehensive data.

A significant change for renewals involves continuing education records. The Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, now automatically reviews these records via an electronic tracking system at the time of renewal. Practitioners with complete continuing education records can renew their licenses without interruption. If records are incomplete, the system prompts practitioners to enter their remaining hours before proceeding with renewal.
