Federal Judges Report Threats Amidst Criticism

WASHINGTON – Federal judges across the United States have reported receiving threats against themselves and their family members throughout 2020, the U.S. Marshals Service stated. The agency documented these incidents as political leaders have publicly criticized judicial rulings.

Justice correspondent Ali Rogin spoke with two judges regarding their experiences. Judge John McConnell indicated he has received multiple threats. Judge Esther Salas also shared her perspective on the situation.
