WASHINGTON – Federal efforts targeting noncitizens registered on state voter rolls have led to 160 arrests. Matthew Millhollin, a senior official with Homeland Security Investigations, stated during a Tuesday press briefing that authorities reviewed approximately 1,600 cases in connection with this initiative.
The Trump administration implemented a multi-agency strategy to identify and pursue noncitizens who were reportedly registered to vote.
