WASHINGTON D.C. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released new documents providing additional information regarding the 2022 assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The documents include an account from a rally attendee who spoke with FBI investigators. This individual stated that Thomas Crooks, identified as the attempted assassin, made "hateful comments" about Trump prior to the attack.
