Ex-DA Brett Ligon Captures Texas Senate District 4 in Special Election Win

Brett Ligon, a Republican with 17 years as Montgomery County district attorney, won the special election Saturday for Texas Senate District 4, the seat vacated by Brandon Creighton. Creighton stepped down last year to become chancellor of the Texas Tech University System.
