Ducks Defeat Golden Knights 4-3, Even Series 2-2

The Anaheim Ducks defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 in Game 4, tying their best-of-seven series 2-2. The Ducks scored two power-play goals on four opportunities, while the Golden Knights converted one of three power-play chances.

Anaheim's Beckett Sennecke opened the scoring with a power-play goal at 8:43 of the first period, his fourth goal of the series. Vegas responded 1:40 later with a power-play goal from Pavel Dorofeyev, his fifth postseason goal. Mikael Granlund regained the lead for Anaheim, scoring his fourth goal of the series at 14:32 of the first period. William Karlsson recorded a primary assist on Brett Howden's tying goal for Vegas at 4:04 of the second period. Howden's seventh postseason goal tied him for the league lead.

Alex Killorn extended Anaheim's lead with a power-play goal at 17:58 of the second period, his fourth goal of the series. Ian Moore scored his first career playoff goal for the Ducks at 3:43 of the third period, giving Anaheim a two-goal advantage. Tomas Hertl scored for Vegas with 1:04 remaining in the third period, his first goal of the playoffs, but the Golden Knights did not score again.

Anaheim outshot Vegas 23-21. Vegas held a faceoff advantage, winning 52.9% of draws. The Golden Knights were without captain Mark Stone due to injury; he last played 4:24 in Game 3. Anaheim played without Radko Gudas for the seventh consecutive game.
