Dolphins Draft Proctor, Johnson in NFL Draft First Round
The Miami Dolphins selected Alabama tackle Kadyn Proctor and San Diego State cornerback Chris Johnson in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Proctor was selected with the 12th overall pick. The Dolphins traded their No. 30 and acquired a fourth-round pick to move up for Johnson with the 27th pick. They sent the No. 90 pick to the San Francisco 49ers in the trade.
The Dolphins have the 43rd overall selection in the second round. They also possess three third-round picks at numbers 75, 87, and 94.
Following the first round, Miami has roster needs at edge rusher and wide receiver. Potential draft options include Oklahoma’s R Mason Thomas and Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston.
