Parkland residents can anticipate a busy spring with several key events and initiatives planned across the district. The Parkland School Board is scheduled to hold its next regular meeting on Tuesday, April 15, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Parkland High School auditorium, located at 123 Main Street. The agenda is expected to include discussions on the upcoming school budget and facility maintenance updates.

In community news, the annual 'Parkland Green-Up' town-wide clean-up day is set for Saturday, April 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers are encouraged to meet at the Town Square Gazebo on Elm Avenue to receive supplies and assignments. This initiative, organized by the Parkland Community Association, aims to beautify local parks and public spaces, including the beloved Pine Trails Park, before the summer season.
