Deerfield Beach Offers Free Secure Document Shredding Event September 19th

Deerfield Beach residents can securely dispose of old files and confidential paperwork at a free shredding event happening tomorrow, September 19th. The City of Deerfield Beach is hosting the event from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bernard Adams Municipal Complex, located at 401 SW 4th St, Deerfield Beach FL 33441.

This event provides a convenient way for residents to protect their personal information by ensuring sensitive documents are properly destroyed. Secure document disposal helps prevent identity theft and maintains privacy for individuals and households.

To participate, residents must bring proof of Deerfield Beach residency, such as a driver's license or a utility bill. Each resident can bring a maximum of two boxes of materials for shredding. Organizers ask participants to remove all large metal and plastic clips, spines, and plastic notebook covers before arriving. File folders, paper clips, and staples are acceptable and do not need to be removed.
