Davie Mobile Home Fire: What We Know So Far

At least one person died in a fire at a mobile home in Davie, and investigators are still working to determine what sparked it, according to NBC Miami and Local 10 News.

Local 10 reported that firefighters extinguished the flames and then searched the property, where they found the body of one person who was unable to get out. NBC Miami reported that the fire broke out Sunday morning at a mobile home in Davie, while Local 10 said the fire was reported Tuesday morning in a rural area off Southwest 76th Avenue near Griffin Road.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined, according to Local 10. The station also reported that the State Fire Marshal has been called in to help determine what sparked the flames. The victim has not been publicly identified, and available reporting did not confirm any arrests, suspects or criminal charges.

Davie Fire Rescue and the State Fire Marshal are continuing the investigation. No road closures or evacuations were mentioned in the reports reviewed.
