Dante Fowler Signs With Seahawks After Lawrence's Super Bowl Pitch
The Seattle Seahawks signed Dante Fowler Jr. after DeMarcus Lawrence recruited him. Fowler stated Lawrence convinced him to sign by promising a Super Bowl victory.
Fowler and Lawrence played together for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. During those two seasons, Fowler recorded a total of 10 sacks in 34 games. Following a year with the Washington Commanders, Fowler recorded three sacks and 10 quarterback hits in 2025 after returning to Dallas.
DeMarcus Lawrence joined the Seahawks last season. He previously stated he left the Cowboys because he believed he could not win a Super Bowl in Dallas.
