Dania Beach Tiki Hut Fire: What We Know So Far
A tiki hut fire in Dania Beach spread to a nearby home Friday morning, but firefighters contained the blaze and no injuries were reported, according to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue and WSVN/7News.
Officials said the fire broke out off Southwest 47th Street and 28th Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. and extended from the tiki hut to a residential structure, according to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue. Firefighters were able to douse the flames and keep the fire contained, and the home was safely evacuated, officials said.
