Dania Beach Tiki Hut Blaze: What We Know So Far
A fire that started at a tiki hut and spread to a nearby home in Dania Beach left no one injured, according to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue. This is what we know so far.
Officials said the fire broke out off Southwest 47th Street and 28th Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. Friday and extended from the tiki hut to a residential structure, according to WSVN. Firefighters contained the blaze and doused the flames before it spread further, and the home was safely evacuated, officials said.
No injuries were reported in the fire, according to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue. The cause remains under investigation.
