According to WSVN, firefighters found the man inside the mobile home while crews were extinguishing the blaze. He was taken to the hospital with injuries but later died. Officials also said the victim’s dog died in the fire.
Fire crews said the fire was brought under control in about 10 minutes, and it did not spread to nearby homes, according to WSVN. Officials said the cause remains under investigation and that they do not suspect foul play.
The report placed the fire near North Park Road and Southwest 54th Place. No road closures were reported in the available coverage.
