C.W. Kim Appointed to Hernando Planning Commission

Hernando residents will see a new face on the Planning Commission, as C.W. Kim has been appointed to serve the community. The appointment, made recently, fills a vacancy on the commission responsible for guiding the city's development and land use decisions.

The Planning Commission plays a crucial role in Hernando, reviewing zoning requests, subdivision plans, and comprehensive plan amendments. Their work directly impacts the character and growth of our town, from new business locations in the historic downtown on Main Street to residential developments off Highway 51.

Kim's appointment is effective immediately. The next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, at 6:00 PM at Hernando City Hall, located at 2000 Highway 51 South. Residents are encouraged to attend and observe the proceedings.
