Cruz Davis Commits to Texas Tech, Cancels Kentucky Visit

Cruz Davis, a transfer guard, committed to Texas Tech, declining to visit Kentucky. Davis had scheduled a visit to Lexington to meet with Coach Mark Pope. However, he committed to the Red Raiders after visiting their campus. Davis, a West Virginia product, averaged 20 points per game and 4 assists last season. Davis shot 38% from three-point range. He earned CAA Player of the Year honors. Kentucky’s Coach Pope has shown interest in other guards. Alex Wilkins and Jalen Cox both visited Kentucky this week. Terrence Brown is scheduled to visit.
