Cowboys Select Downs, Lawrence in NFL Draft

The Dallas Cowboys selected safety Caleb Downs from Ohio State with the 11th overall pick in the NFL Draft. This pick was acquired via a trade with the Miami Dolphins.
Dallas subsequently drafted edge rusher Malachi Lawrence from UCF with the 23rd overall pick. The Cowboys traded down from the 20th pick with the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire this selection.
