The deal designates Yale New Haven Health as the Official Medical Provider of the WNBA team, while also making the health system a marquee jersey sponsor. This collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to enhancing athlete and community health, with an emphasis on affordable healthcare access, innovative health and performance solutions, and strengthening the bond between the team and its supporters.

A standout element of the collaboration is the 'Steals for Heals' initiative, an innovative program connecting on-court performance with community contributions. For every steal made by a Connecticut Sun player throughout the season, a $10 donation is directed towards cancer research as part of the Sun's Game Action Give-Backs program. The forward-thinking initiative successfully raised $55,000 for the Connecticut community in 2024, exemplifying the team's dedication to utilizing sports as a vehicle for social change.
