Challenger Middle School Releases Bell Schedule for Upcoming School Year
Cape Coral parents and students attending Challenger Middle School can now plan their mornings and afternoons with the release of the official bell schedule for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The schedule, designed to optimize learning time and student transitions, will take effect when classes resume in August.
The school day at Challenger Middle School will begin promptly at 9:30 AM with the first bell ringing for students to report to their homerooms. The tardy bell will sound at 9:35 AM. This start time is consistent with previous years, allowing for staggered bus schedules across Lee County Schools.
Classes will be structured into seven periods throughout the day, each lasting approximately 50 minutes. Lunch periods will be staggered to accommodate the student body, with specific times for each grade level to be communicated directly by the school administration closer to the start of the academic year. Students will have a brief passing period between each class to move between classrooms and prepare for their next subject.
The final bell of the day, signaling dismissal, will ring at 4:00 PM. This schedule aims to provide ample instructional time while also allowing for extracurricular activities and after-school programs. Parents are encouraged to review the full schedule, which will be made available on the school's official website and distributed during orientation events.
For any questions regarding the new bell schedule or other school-related inquiries, parents can contact Challenger Middle School directly at their main office during regular business hours.
