CDC Data Shows Millions of Students Exposed to Secondhand E-Cigarette Aerosol

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed that approximately 6.5 million, or one in four, middle and high school students in the United States reported exposure to secondhand aerosol from e-cigarettes within the past 30 days.

The CDC collected and analyzed the data to reach this conclusion. The agency did not offer further information about the study's methodology or potential health effects of said secondhand aerosol exposure.

This figure represents a significant portion of the youth population.
