Carnival Shot Prize Model

Oakland Park residents are invited to participate in a unique opportunity to become the face of a new carnival game prize. A local carnival supply company, known for outfitting many of the region's traveling fairs, is seeking a resident to model for a new line of plush toys. The company, which operates a warehouse off Powerline Road in Oakland Park's bustling commercial district, is looking for an individual who embodies the spirit of Oakland Park to be immortalized as a cuddly carnival prize.

Interested individuals are encouraged to submit a recent photograph and a brief statement about what they love most about Oakland Park, from its welcoming neighborhoods to its lively community events. Submissions can be dropped off at the Oakland Park City Hall front desk, located at 3650 NE 12th Avenue, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, until April 19, 2026. The selected model will receive a collection of the plush toys featuring their likeness and a complimentary pass to the next community carnival held in Oakland Park.
