Boca Raton Library to Host Free Media Center Workshop

Boca Raton residents interested in digital media creation are invited to a free workshop at the Boca Raton Public Library's historic Downtown location, 400 NW 2nd Avenue, this Saturday, April 12, 2026. The event, focusing on the library's state-of-the-art Media Center, will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The workshop will provide an overview of the equipment and software available for public use in the Media Center, including video editing suites, sound recording booths, and graphic design tools. Library staff will be on hand to demonstrate the resources and answer questions. This initiative aims to empower community members with the skills and tools needed for various creative projects, from podcasting to video production.

No prior experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome. Space is limited, and early arrival is recommended. For more information, residents can visit the library's information desk or call the Downtown branch during operating hours.
