BLM Accepts Plan for Tonopah Flats Lithium Project

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has formally accepted the Plan of Operations for the Tonopah Flats Lithium Project, a proposed mine and refinery in Nevada. American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) develops the project, which it identifies as one of the nation's largest known lithium resources.

BLM's acceptance signals a step forward in the federal permitting process for the project. ABTC states the development supports domestic critical mineral production and energy security.
