Bernardo Silva to Depart Manchester City After Contract Expiration

Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva will leave the club at the end of the current season. Silva, a 31-year-old midfielder from Portugal, joined Manchester City in 2017.
During his time with the club, Silva made 451 appearances, scoring 76 goals and providing 77 assists. His tenure included winning 15 major honors, most recently the Carabao Cup.
Silva's contributions were integral to Manchester City's Premier League title win in 2017-18, where they achieved a record 100 points. He also played a key role in the team's domestic quadruple in 2018-19 and their four consecutive Premier League titles from 2021 to 2024. Silva was named club captain at the start of the current season.
