Bellevue's Statsig Joins Unicorn Club With $100M Funding Round
Four years after its founding, Statsig has emerged as one of Washington's fastest-growing tech startups, landing the coveted unicorn status alongside peers like Datadog and Snowflake. The Series C round, led by San Francisco venture firm Iconiq Growth with participation from Sequoia and Seattle-based Madrona Venture Group, brings the company's total raised to more than $153 million.
Vijaye Raji, Statsig's founder and CEO, built the company to tackle a fundamental challenge in modern software development: helping product teams test new features, measure their impact, and decide what to launch. The platform's tools span experimentation, analytics, feature flagging, and session replay—capabilities that have become increasingly critical as AI reshapes how products are conceived and built.
The funding accelerates Statsig's ambition to become a "one-stop product-building platform," with Raji noting the company has three to four additional products currently in development. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its product lineup and grow its workforce, positioning it as a key player in the competitive landscape of AI-assisted software development tools.
Statisig's rise reflects Seattle's sustained appeal to venture capitalists backing enterprise software companies. The company's earlier $43 million Series B in 2022, also led by Sequoia with Madrona participation, demonstrated strong investor confidence in its market opportunity.
