Baby Jean Arrives, Bringing Joy to Sarasota Family

Sarasota is celebrating a new arrival as Baby Jean made her debut on April 14, 2026, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Weighing a healthy 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and measuring 20 inches long, Baby Jean is the first child for local residents Sarah and Tom Miller of the Indian Beach Sapphire Shores neighborhood, a serene waterfront community along Sarasota Bay.

The Millers, who have lived in Sarasota for five years and are active members of the community, expressed their overwhelming joy. Sarah, a kindergarten teacher at Bay Haven School of Basics Plus, and Tom, who works at the Sarasota County Public Works Department, are eager to introduce their daughter to friends and family. Both mother and baby are doing well and are expected to return home to their residence on Bay Shore Road later this week. The community extends its warmest wishes to the growing Miller family.
