Aurora Police Nab 20-Year-Old in 6 Gas Station Armed Robberies

Aurora police arrested 20-year-old Ross Wner on Sunday following a months-long investigation into a string of armed robberies targeting gas station convenience stores in the city. The suspect, who police say struck the same Shell station near Tower Road and Hampton Avenue five times since July 2025, was booked into Arapahoe County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery and felony menacing with a firearm.
