Auburndale Library Announces New Evening Book Club for Adults

Auburndale Public Library is launching a new evening book club for adults, offering residents another opportunity to connect and discuss literature. The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the library's community room, located at 100 West Lake Avenue in the heart of historic downtown Auburndale.

The inaugural book selection for the club is "The Midnight Library" by Matt Haig. Library Director Sarah Jenkins shared her enthusiasm for the new initiative, stating, "We've had many requests for an evening option, and we're thrilled to provide a space for our community to engage with diverse stories and ideas."

Participants are encouraged to pick up a copy of the book at the circulation desk in advance. The book club is free and open to all adult residents of Auburndale. For more information, interested individuals can contact the Auburndale Public Library directly at 863-965-5548 during operating hours.
