Army Foundation College Faces Calls for Inquiry Following Abuse Allegations

LONDON – Calls have emerged for an independent inquiry into the Army Foundation College (AFC) in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, after four women described experiencing sexual assault and harassment while attending the institution.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported these accounts. The women stated their experiences occurred during their time as recruits at the college.

The AFC provides training for teenagers aged 16 to 17 who plan to join the British Army. The college emphasizes discipline and military instruction for young recruits.
