April 26, 2026
Arizona freshman forward Koa Peat has declared for the 2026 NBA Draft. The deadline for early entry was Friday.
The 6-foot-8, 235-pound Peat started all 36 games for the Wildcats, averaging 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. He scored a season-high 30 points in his debut against Florida.
Peat reached double figures in 29 games and scored 20 points or more eight times, including 20 against Purdue in the Elite Eight. He averaged 17.2 points in the NCAA Tournament and 21 points in the Big 12 Tournament title game against Houston. He missed three games in February due to a lower leg injury but still scored over 500 points this season.
Peat is projected as a first-round pick in most mock drafts. The deadline to withdraw from the draft and maintain college eligibility is May 27.
