Afghan Women's Educational Center (AWEC) to Host Informational Session

The Afghan Women's Educational Center (AWEC) is set to host an informational session at the Punta Gorda Civic Association Hall in the welcoming coastal city of Punta Gorda, Charlotte County, Florida, on April 22, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event aims to introduce the community to AWEC's mission and programs designed to support Afghan women and girls, particularly those who have recently resettled in the area.

AWEC, a non-profit organization, focuses on providing educational resources, vocational training, and cultural integration support.
