Aaron Rodgers Re-Signs with Steelers for 2026 Season
The Pittsburgh Steelers finished the 2025 season with a 30-6 playoff loss to to the Houston Texans. Aaron Rodgers re-signed with the Steelers, securing his place for a 22nd NFL season.
Rodgers, 42, threw for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2025, with seven interceptions. The Steelers drafted quarterback Drew Allar from Penn State in the third round of the 2026 draft.
Former Steelers coach Mike Tomlin resigned after 19 years, and the team hired Mike McCarthy. Rodgers and McCarthy previously worked together for 13 seasons with the Packers. The Steelers previously applied an unrestricted free agent tender to Rodgers.
