Crystal River residents are invited to participate in the annual community clean-up day, scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2026. This initiative aims to spruce up local parks along the scenic riverfront, public spaces, and roadways, ensuring our town continues to shine.
Volunteers are asked to gather at the Crystal River City Hall, located at 123 NW US Highway 19 in the historic downtown, at 8:00 AM. Supplies such as gloves, trash bags, and safety vests will be provided. The event is expected to conclude around noon, followed by a complimentary lunch for all participants at the City Hall courtyard.
City Councilwoman Martha Jenkins, who is spearheading this year's effort, emphasized the importance of community involvement. "This is a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to come together, make a tangible difference in our shared spaces, and enjoy some fellowship," she stated. "Every hand helps, and we encourage everyone, from families to local businesses, to join us."
