Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever announced that Philadelphia will host the DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ at Subaru Park on July 17 and July 18, with performances beginning at 9:15 p.m.[1][2] The spectacle marks the first time Philadelphia will host an open-air drone show of this scale dedicated to the beloved film franchise, positioning the city among iconic American venues including Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, and San Antonio hosting similar events in 2026.[2]
The production will feature 1,200 synchronized illuminated drones recreating memorable moments from the Harry Potter films in the night sky, synchronized with the original film soundtrack and live violin performances.[1][3] Attendees will receive LED wristbands enabling them to interact with the show, while the pre-show atmosphere will include wizarding world-inspired food, drinks, and official Harry Potter merchandise.[1] The entire experience, including a 60-minute show with intermission, runs approximately two hours from doors opening at 7:15 p.m.[3]
Tickets are limited, prompting organizers to encourage early registration through the Fever app and website for priority access.[1] The venue, Subaru Park in Chester, has no age requirement and maintains ADA compliance for accessibility.[3] This represents part of a larger international tour celebrating 25 Years of Magic, with events scheduled throughout the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe, capped by a special one-night-only performance at Los Angeles' UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium on June 13.[1][2]
For Pennsylvania residents seeking this immersive spectacle, the July dates offer one of limited opportunities on the East Coast to experience the first-of-its-kind drone choreography blending advanced technology with the nostalgia and wonder of the Harry Potter universe.
