Pasco County Removes 280 Tons Trash West Pasco
Pasco County departments removed 280 tons of trash and debris from three West Pasco neighborhoods in a recent cleanup effort.
Teams from Solid Waste, Public Works, and Code Compliance collected 26 tons from Holiday Lake Estates, 42 tons from Gulf Highlands, and 212 tons from the Moon Lake area.
Commissioner Lisa Yeager said the results demonstrate the value of coordinated efforts. "It shows how much we can accomplish when we work together to improve our community," she said.
Commissioner Jack Mariano said the cleanups give residents a convenient way to dispose of unwanted items. Commissioner Kathryn Starkey called the annual event a key tool for keeping the county cleaner and safer.
Residents can report trash or debris in their neighborhoods by using the MyPasco App, emailing [email protected], or calling 727.847.2411.
