The City will join communities across the country in commemorating the moment our nation was born and the courage and service of the countless patriots that fought for the establishment of the United States of America.

Hometown Heroes Banner Program presented by AdventHealth Join the City of Port Orange and AdventHealth in honoring our Hometown Heroes during the America 250 Celebration! The Hometown Heroes Banner Program recognizes the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. Each banner will proudly feature a local hero's photo, name, branch of service, and years of service. Banners will be located around City Center Lake from May 2026 to November 2026. We appreciate the community's interest.
