Poplarville Senior Wins Fine Arts Scholarship to PRCC

Bailee Holmes, a Poplarville High School senior, signed a Fine Arts Service Scholarship with Pearl River Community College on Wednesday, April 15.

Holmes has performed with Shades of Gold, the school's a cappella ensemble, throughout her secondary education. The group competes in regional competitions.

Holmes will begin her vocal studies at Pearl River Community College in fall 2026. The scholarship requires her to perform with the college's music ensembles while completing coursework.

Ladona Tyson, choral director at Pearl River Community College, attended the signing ceremony at Poplarville High School.
